The airport is easily accessible by Metrorail – just a short walk from the Green Line’s College Park/University of Maryland station.

Join us for an exciting air show featuring aerobatic performances, and 100 years of flight at College Park Airport, the world’s oldest continuously operating airport. Airplane rides* will be showcased, along with aircraft displays, children’s activities, food and craft vendors, entertainment and refreshments. See the plane that started it all – a 1909 Wright Military Flyer will be unveiled at the AirFair!
Bring an envelope or post card and get a special airmail cancellation commemorating 100 years of exciting aviation history.
* Please note that a government issued photo ID is required for all flight rides.
The easiest way to attend AirFair 100! is to travel by Metrorail – the airport is just a short walk from the Green Line’s College Park/University of Maryland station.
To get to the airport by car, take I-495 to exit 23, Kenilworth Avenue, towards Bladensburg. Turn right onto Paint Branch Pkwy. The airport is located just off Paint Branch Pkwy. AirFair parking signs will direct you to the parking lots you may use. Parking will be available in satellite lots near the airport; FREE, continuous shuttle service will be provided between satellite parking lots and the airport.

Please note the following closures and restrictions for Saturday, August 29 during AirFair 100!:
- Paint Branch Parkway Community Park, including all facilities in the park, will be closed from dawn to 6 pm.
- Lake Artemesia is open, but will have limited access.
- Ellen Linson Aquatics Center will be closed on Saturday, August 29 until 4 pm. Operating hours, this day only are from 4-10 pm. The Dive-In Movie feature is Top Gun starting at 8:30 pm. Fee is $5 adult resident, $6 adult non resident and $4 child resident, $5 child non resident.
The 94th Aero Squadron Restaurant remains temporarily closed.
